Pet Euthanasia
No matter what the circumstances, the decision to euthanize a beloved pet is
difficult and gut wrenching. We would like to try and ease some of the hardship.
Our goal is to make the experience as comforting, dignified and painless for both you and your pet as possible.
We will take the time to be sure you and your family has said your goodbyes.
We will provide pain relief and sedation prior to euthanasia to be sure that your
pet feels neither pain nor fear. We can also offer aftercare of communal or
individual cremation with your choice of urns. We include a beautiful paw print impression with all our private cremation.
Why choose at-home Euthanasia?
Your pet's last hours really shouldn't take place in a foreign, clinical environment. As a member of your family, they should be in the peaceful and familiar surroundings of their home, in their favorite special
place - their bed, on a sunlit patio, or on the grass they liked rolling over.
Is it time?
In every anima's life there is a moment, where, a pet’s owner has to weigh quality of life against quantity.
This is the one of the responsibilities we have toward our companion animals. In some cases when owners have hard time saying goodbye animal’s suffering is lingered. On the other extreme, there are cases, where the condition, as bad as it may seem, Is actually treatable.
A House Call Vet provides mobile veterinary service during this emotional time. We have the medical knowledge and clinical experience, to gain clarity and help you
decide if it is time, by evaluating the clinical appearance, vital signs and, if needed, run the appropriate tests.
If the decision to euthanatize has been reached, we will try and make it easier on you, by providing you with the privacy and comfort of a House-Call
service, during this sensitive appointment.
After the Euthanasia:
Following home euthanasia, most pet owners choose to have their pet's remains individually cremated and returned to them.
We will transport your pet's remains to Caring pet Services.
Your Pet's individually cremated remains will be hand delivered to your home by us. in standard urn or any premium decorative urn of your choosing, usually in about 10 to 20 days. If you don't wish to have your pet's ashes returned, they can be scattered or buried by the crematory instead.
